Arts Administrator

Hello! I believe the arts have an unmatched power to connect us more deeply to ourselves and others. Through my work in arts administration, I help arts organizations connect more fully to their communities.

My MM in Voice Performance with an emphasis in Community Engagement degree included coursework in entrepreneurship, development, concert design, and artist management. As a graduate student, I held graduate assistantships with Spark: Music Leadership at Carolina and Southern Exposure New Music Concert Series.

Southern Exposure New Music Concert Series (University of South Carolina)

In my fundraising role at the USC School of Music and Koger Center for the Arts, I cultivate and maintain relationships between donors and the School of Music and the Koger Center. In addition to my work with donors, I manage annual giving campaigns, secure grant funding, write principal gift proposals, lead student philanthropy initiatives, and direct Give4Garnet, USC's biggest giving day. Under my leadership, the School of Music had their most successful giving day campaign to date with a 580% increase in funds raised and a 219% increase in donor participation over the previous year.

Spark: Music Leadership at Carolina offers coursework, project support, guest residencies, and other initiatives to foster an environment of creative learning, skill development, and personal exploration. As a member of the Spark team, I administered the Gig Office, served as the Community Engagement assistant, managed Spark's Instagram, directed guest artist hospitality, and develop initiatives for student success.

Southern Exposure New Music Series has achieved a national reputation for the quality and adventurous spirit of its four yearly concerts, unparalleled in the southeast for their mix of artistic quality, audience education and cutting-edge programming. As Southern Exposure's Graduate Assistant, I managed ticket sales and seating reservations, provided exceptional artist hospitality, marketed series events, served on the planning committee for the 20th Anniversary Gala, and assisted with all aspect's of Southern Exposure's production. I worked directly with premiere new music ensembles such as the Kronos Quartet, Bang on a Can All-Stars, Westerlies, and Founders, and composers such as Michael Abels and Augusta Read Thomas.
